And the first ROP Music Awards Go To…

The following three videos from around the world will definitely bring us all closer together. Be sure to add them to your playlist and set to repeat often. Prepare for inspiration.

From Ukraine, Kiev, one of the best songs and music videos ever created. Nicki Minaj and Spike Jonze, eat your hearts out! Extra kudos for the positive message about being who you want to be – including Barbie.
Barbie Love Dance

From Hungary, a fellow who likes to speak the truth and it’s only a matter of time before Death Row Records recognizes his potential as the next big thing on the hip hop scene. Extra points for the positive message about the military industrial complex.
Speak the Hungarian Rapper

Then from Nigeria, the Queen. How about a campaign to send this woman to congress? Perhaps she can convince the Republicans to stay out of women’s nether regions and to loosen up a little around issues of sexuality. Special props for no literal vajajay props and for encouraging women to embrace their sexuality with confidence. By the way, vagina is not a four-letter word. Bigotry is.
New Nigerian Music: Queen Of Vagina

All said, these three deserve an award, and so in honor of their contributions to inspiring change—Barbie Love, Speak and Queen of Vagina, are hereby conferred with the first ever Republic of Peace Understanding through Arts & Cultures Awards. Certificates and trophies coming soon. Please let us know if you have recommendations for future recipients.

Le Peace.
